What to Expect at Your First Visit
You may be interested in learning more about clinical research studies and what participation looks like.
At your first appointment with Sherman Clinical Research, we will perform an intake or prescreen appointment. At the beginning of the appointment, we will provide you with a consent form to review. The consent form explains the prescreen appointment and any possible tests that you may choose to complete.
After consenting, our study coordinators will have a brief interview with you to collect your general medical information. Please bring us a list of your medications to assist with this process.
Some tests that we are able to do at this appointment, if applicable, are pulmonary function tests or a fibroscan of your liver.
Upon reviewing your initial information, we will notify you of what studies we have available that you may be eligible for.
After your prescreen appointment, we will continue to review your information and notify you if there are any studies you may be eligible for.
